ART CLUB FOR CHILDREN - 5-7 years old - SATURDAYS - 9.45 - 10.45 from 19th January - 5 or 10 sessions

SATURDAY SESSION - 9.45 - 10.45am. AGE 5-7 years old. Term time only. 

The art class is held in our workshop space in our shop at Sarah & Bendrix, 6 Upper Mulgrave Road, Cheam Village, Surrey, SM2 7AZ. 

This term children will learn about the human form and its relationship with animals and nature. Children will develop their ideas and understanding of structure and form while drawing and sculpting from observation and references.

The course is split between 2-3 week short projects with a finished piece produced at the end of each project, working in and out of sketchbooks, producing 2D and 3D artwork. The children will also be familiarising themselves with colour theory and tonal drawing techniques. 

They will be doing drawing with pencils and tonal pencils, painting with acrylic or glazes and working with clay. Classes are held in our workshop space within our shop. They are taught by Emma Doyle, an experienced art teacher and artists.

£12 / 1 hour per session

£60 for 5 sessions

£110 for 10 sessions

Emma is the founder of Edoyledesigns. She studied at Wimbledon Art College, has a Ba (Hons) Fine Art Sculpture degree from Brighton University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Figurative Sculpture from Heatherley's Fine Art School. She has taught children and adults in various schools and art organisations around the UK and is a qualified teacher with an up to date DBS/CRB check.  

She has also taken part in many community projects around the UK and Canada promoting art to members of the public as well as creating a rapport with individuals to build relationships within neighbouring communities. She is a practicing artist and has exhibited her drawings, stone carvings and sculpture around Canada and the UK.
